Please, download image to see this tutorial!

I would like to share with you my experience of creating cross-eyed 3d fractals. So here it is, my first tutorial! :la: I hope there is no mistakes in the text - english is not my native language. So sorry if it's hard to understand my explanations, but I tried my best! :-(

If you have any questions - please ask me and I'll try to answer it! And of course I would like to see your works which you created using this tutorial - so please, send me the link and I will add it to the descriprion.

Oh, and I forgot to mentioned that this method of creating 3D fractals only works if you don't use such things as rotation, because our eyes can normally react on two pictures with different angles in horisontal plane. But if you do I think you also can add volume but the combination of values will be more complicated (I mean including not only yaw and x-position and calculating cos or something else to select the right combination)

My 3D fractals you may see here:

Thank you for links! :) To tell the truth I'm not so experienced in using apophysis and scripts in particular.
I think all 3d images are amazing and especially fractals - they are just like synthesis of mathematic and nature.

i understand - i am crossing my eyes when going through corridors with tilings or during looking at bulidings with rows of windows :D

your tut is very useful - many people are really afraid of scripts and they will be able to make 3d fractals easily now.

but this one script by aporev is worth to try - it is very well done :)

I think I'll try it, just because I'm one of those who tries to automate all the routine work :)

Cool beans, I had planned to experiment with this in the future when I got better at making 3D fractals. Glad to see someone else had the idea. I sometimes do this with my digital camera with real world objects. I planned to get two identical cameras that use an IR trigger so I can fire them both at the same time and make a tripod rig to hold both of them like a pair of eyes, heh

I'm really mad about cross-eyed pictures so I was happy to find that I can do it with Apo 7x. If you'll make something I would like yo see it.
And maybe you should check this page [link]. This man have a special camera and makes beautiful shots!
